Led by experienced Pilates instructor Kat Smelikova, Active Pilates combines 14 years of teaching experience with ongoing professional development and a deep understanding of how bodies change through midlife and beyond.
Classes are intentionally small, allowing for individual attention, thoughtful guidance, and a supportive environment where you can move at your own pace. This isn't Pilates for perfect bodies. It's Pilates designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and stay active for the things you love.

With more than a decade of teaching experience, my focus is on helping clients move with greater ease, confidence and awareness.
Every class is structured to support gradual improvement — building strength, improving balance and encouraging better movement patterns without rushing or pushing beyond what feels right.

Our Classes
Simple structure | Clear pathway | Support at every stage
Our classes are mat-based and suitable for a wide range of abilities. New clients are guided carefully so they feel comfortable from the very first session. You may begin with a Beginner class or a Private session before moving into general group classes at your own pace.
Beginner
Ideal if you are new to Pilates or returning after a break
Maximum 6 people.
General
For ongoing strength, mobility and confidence
Maximum 12 people.
Private
Individual support tailored to your needs
Semiprivate classes (2:1) are available.
